I have been a Bodysurfer for the past 20 years of my life, and consider myself a true and pure Bodysurfer.
There have been many attempts by others to introduce an innovative tool for bodysurfing. There have
been the Red Cleaver, swim paddles, and other tools. I tested all of them. Needless to say, I didn't
continue using them again. I stopped using them for the following reasons:
- interfered with style
- hindered mobility
- affected normal ride of wave
- caused unforeseen wipeouts in wave
- affected speed negatively
- much too cumbersome
Approximately January 20, 1995, we first met and you introduced me to your wave-riding tool the WaveBlades. I must admit that at first I was rather skeptical because they seemed so large. I was very pleased after the first trial run but not yet convinced.
I have since purchased 3 pairs of WaveBlades. I became a devout follower and WAVEBLADER since you refined the WaveBlade by incorporating design changes allowing me to ride a wave faster and better. With the WaveBlades, I am now able to pass Boogie Boarders on occasion and my ability to perform maneuvers in waves has increased ten-fold due to the speed and manageability they afford me. They also allow me to catch and ride bigger waves than ever. To be quite honest I feel naked out there without them on my hands.
